1. About This App & Who Operates It
This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application Elgris Solar Power (package name: com.elgrissolar.com), available on Google Play. The app is published under the developer name Amir Nasir, and is operated on behalf of solar installation customers by COGNIDOM TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, registered at H F/F No O 1, Lajpat Nagar II, New Delhi – 110024, India ("we", "us", or "our").
Elgris Solar Power is a customer portal for people who have purchased or are having a solar installation done through Elgris Solar. It lets you sign in with your mobile number, track the stages of your installation (from sales order through to completion), view and respond to project documents, and contact support.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information, all of it necessary for the app to function as a customer account and installation-tracking tool:

We do not collect your precise location, and the app does not access your camera or photo library. Your sign-in session is stored on your device using Android's secure, encrypted credential storage — it is never sent anywhere except to authenticate you with our servers.
3. Third-Party Services We Use
We use the following third-party services to operate the app. Each processes only the data necessary for its specific function:
- Zoho CRM — your installation/project data (sales order and journey stage information) is stored and managed in our Zoho CRM, which is how our team tracks and updates your installation. See Zoho's Privacy Policy.
- Expo (Expo Application Services) — used solely to deliver push notifications to your device. See Expo's Privacy Policy.
- Railway — the cloud infrastructure provider that hosts our backend servers. See Railway's Privacy Policy.
We do not use any advertising SDKs, analytics/tracking SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs in this app.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account, and verify it's you via OTP;
- To show you accurate, up-to-date information about your solar installation;
- To let you review and respond to installation-related documents;
- To respond to support requests you submit;
- To send you notifications about updates to your installation, if you've allowed them;
- To maintain the security and proper functioning of the app.
5. Data Sharing — What We Share, and What We Never Do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with any third party for their own independent marketing or advertising purposes. We share data only with the service providers listed in Section 3, who process it strictly to help us operate the app on our behalf, and with our own team, who need it to manage your installation and respond to support requests.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and installation data for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide the service to you. Because this app involves solar loan and subsidy processing, some records may need to be retained longer to comply with applicable Indian financial, tax, and subsidy-scheme record-keeping requirements. If you request deletion (Section 8), we delete or anonymize your personal information except where we are legally required to keep it.
7. Data Security
All data sent between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Your sign-in session is stored on your device using Android's secure, encrypted credential storage (Keystore-backed), not in plain text. Access to your data within our systems is limited to our team members who need it to support your installation. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights & How to Request Deletion
You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. The app does not currently have a self-service delete-account button, so to make a request:
- Email info@webspecia.in with the subject line "Elgris Solar Power — Data Request".
- Include the mobile number registered on your account, so we can verify it's you.
- Tell us what you'd like — a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and personal information.
We will acknowledge your request promptly and complete it within 30 days, except where we're required to retain certain records by law (see Section 6). You can also reach us by phone/WhatsApp at +91 6206372640.
9. Children's Privacy
Elgris Solar Power is intended for adult customers purchasing or managing a solar installation, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Effective date" above when we do. If we make a material change, we'll let you know through the app or another reasonable means before it takes effect. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
